Hello blog family and welcome to another post!
Today we will be touching up on a frequently asked topic- me and Nael's love language. If you are interested on knowing our love language, continue reading (:
If you have never heard or came across the book- "The 5 love languages," I don't know where you have been. It's a well known book by the New York Times bestselling author, Gary Chapman. He has diverse versions of this book and the one I purchased is the "single's" edition. In every copy, there is a 5 love languages profile which is located towards the end of the book. The profile has a list of thirty statements. The goal is to select which one best reflects your preference. At the end of the profile, you will tally up your results and you'll discover your love language based on your responses.
How we discovered our love language:
This one afternoon, (March 15th to be exact) Nael took me out and didn't tell me where we were headed. I was sooooo anxious! Lol (By the way, before he picked me up, I place the 5 love languages book in my bag so the both of us could take the profile together). When we got to the designated plaza, I realized that Nael was taking me to Jeremiah's! I smiled so hard! 😁 Y'all don't understand; I've been wanting to try Jeremiah's for the looongesssssst and the day finally arrived when my dream will come true. I kept my cool though (you can't show that you're too excited, you feel me!) We parked and began to browse around the plaza.
The area we were in was so beautiful so I took pictures (he was my photographer), we had lunch and topped it off with a gelati (soft serve with your choice of Italian ice) from Jeremiah's. Later on, we sat down and took the profile together and after taking the profile, we discovered that the both of us have the SAME love language! Our primary love language is "quality time," and our secondary love language is "acts of service." The coolest thing about it all is that Nael spoke both of those love languages that same day! We spent quality time together & he took my photos and bought me lunch/gelati = acts of service. Even though to some it may seem like a small gesture, but it meant the world to me because he spoke my love languages!
Having the same top 2 love languages makes it a whole lot easier for us to express our love to one another. I know that there are some couples who have to learn how to speak their partner's love language, which could be a bit challenging. I just love that it flows naturally for us and I thank God for that! Lol.

Feel free to like this post if you enjoyed it. Until next time!
Love, Kat!
