The Wait Pt. 1

We all heard about "The Wait" authored by: Devon Franklin and Meagan Good right? Well, if you answered no, go buy the book NOW! Seriously though. This book will hopefully give you another set of eyes on relationships, and how they should be approached. I personally am a firm believer on "Waiting until marriage." To dumb it down, not having sex until I am married with my prince charming. I promised myself to wait, and I am sticking with it! Pray for me.
The reason why I stated: "pray for me" is because in today's society, "waiting until marriage" is practically out of the norm. Like who does that anymore? Well, I do! And I am sure many other individuals out there are waiting too. I can't lie, it is HARD! It has been all these years. In a world of temptation and sin, you are often swayed to commit sexual acts. Especially if your are "talking" to someone who doesn't have the same belief/goal as you do. That is where we tend to go wrong. If you plan on waiting, and your current "beau" is anti-waiting, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Leave him/her.
Remember the word "Temptation?" That's his/her middle name. My advice is just to be single, and work on you, and your relationship with Christ up until you find "the one." There is absolutely no point in wasting your time. Your time and energy is precious. Treat it as such!
