My Natural Hair Journey.

Hello everyone, today I'm going to talk about my natural hair journey. My mom is actually the person that inspired me! Her growth just wowed me & I just had to give it a try no matter how much I loved my perms 😂

I first began my transition in November 2015 with already natural roots. However, I did have perm-ends. I wasn't brave enough to do the "big chop" so instead, I trimmed my perm ends every time I washed my hair.

While I was transitioning, all I wore was protective styles such as sew-ins, wigs, and crotchet to allow my hair to grow. (You can see that it works very well! 👌🏽) I'm currently at my 8th month mark & I love what I see. I can't wait until my 1yr anniversary!!

P.S. If you've been wanting to go natural, but wasn't sure about it... I say go for it! I took a risk, and I couldn't be happier about my decision 😊
