Secret 🤫Revealed: The truth behind my rapid hair growth.

Hey guys! So, I've been receiving so many questions regarding my hair, and what I use. So here is a post specifically for my rapid hair growth.
Hair Background/Facts:
1. I initially had relaxed hair.
2. My natural journey began in November 2015 (It's been 2 years & almost 4 months now).
3. I transitioned, I did not big chop (I wish I did though).
4. I did not take any hair vitamins to increase my hair growth.
5. I come from a family background that have long thick hair (madre & grandma).
6. Current length: armpit.
7. Desired length: bra-strap.
Now that you all know about the background, here is an outline of my current hair regimen.
My Hair Regimen:
1. I wash my hair ONCE a month. (After washing, I twist my hair & use a hair butter to soften my kinks and curls. Afterwards, I place my bonnet on to allow my hair to air dry for the rest of the day).
2. I ALWAYS air dry my hair! I have yet used a blow-dryer or hair diffuser. (I also have yet flat-ironed my hair)
3. I don't comb my hair except on wash days (for extra detangling of course). I finger detangle on a daily basis.
4. EVERY night I twist my hair to prevent my hair from drying out & becoming matted. I don't typically use a product. (I only use a product when I want my hair to look extra defined the next day).
5. When I'm home, I ALWAYS wear my bonnet. Wherever you lay your hair (cotton pillow, couch, your boo's shirt), it can snatch some hair strands. I don't need that in my life, and neither do you.
I honestly don't do much you guys. Lol. (People don't believe me when I say that but it's true). The less manipulation to your hair, the better in my opinion. But here's my secret :D
Le Secret:
I prayed about it... lol. I know that may sound crazy, but it's true! Here's the story :)
Last year, I decided not to wear weave anymore. I prayed to God, and I was like Lord, I want to honor you in everything that I do. I am deciding to go weave-less and wear my natural hair full-time. I pray that I may be an example to others by showing that you don't need weave to be beautiful. Give me Your natural beauty inwardly so that I may radiate outwardly.
Mind you, I did not pray for long hair. I just prayed for His natural beauty to radiate within me and outwardly. But God just works in mysterious ways, and He decided to bless your girl with rapid growth. At first, I didn't understand where this growth was coming from, but then I remembered my prayer. I couldn't help but look up and smile. God is just amazing! Although I prayed about it, I also had to do my part. But God definitely did the rest.
I encourage you to pray for EVERYTHING your heart desires. After you pray, just watch God work in your life. The secret has been revealed guys! I hope this post helped.
